ANASTRAZOLE 1MG
Anastrozole is a recently developed medication designed to treat advanced breast cancer in women. It is the first of a new generation of selective oral aromatase inhibitors that work by blocking the aromatase enzyme, which in turn decreases estrogen production. Since estrogen can fuel the growth of certain breast cancer cells, reducing estrogen levels aims to slow the progression of the disease. This differs from Nolvadex, which blocks the action of estrogen instead of its production. Anastrozole can have substantial effects on estrogen levels, with a single 1 mg tablet daily achieving over 80% suppression of estrogen in patients. Due to its strong influence on hormone levels, it is intended (clinically) for postmenopausal women whose cancer has advanced despite prior Nolvadex (tamoxifen citrate) treatment. Side effects such as hot flashes and hair thinning may occur, and they are likely to be more severe in premenopausal women.
For male athletes using anabolic compounds, Anastrozole offers significant advantages. Traditionally, drugs like Tamoxifen and Proviron have been used to counteract excess estrogen, often effectively when combined. However, Anastrozole appears to manage estrogen-related issues more efficiently and with less complexity. A daily dose of 1 mg, the same as in clinical settings, usually provides excellent results, though some report positive outcomes with just 0.25 mg. When used alongside highly aromatizing androgens such as Dianabol or testosterone, Anastrozole can effectively prevent gynecomastia and reduce water retention. Paired with Propecia (finasteride), Anastrozole provides a dual approach—one medication reduces estrogen conversion, while the other prevents 5-alpha reduction—minimizing related side effects. This approach allows for substantial muscular growth from potent androgens like testosterone, with improved tolerability similar to nandrolone, and a leaner, more defined physique.
